The Readathon kicks off on Monday, September 16!
Starting Monday morning, and continuing through the night of October 2, students should track their daily reading on a reading log — and invite sponsors to donate money in support of their efforts. At the end of those 17 days, they tally up all the minutes they read, and turn in their logs and pledges.
Prizes will be awarded to the students and classes that read the most minutes and the kids who get the most pledges!
→ Digital reading logs are available at pledgestar.com/miravista, or you may use the paper ones provided in the Wednesday folder.
→ A parent, guardian or teacher should sign off on your student’s minutes each day.
→ Independent reading and reading to your child both count toward the Readathon.

¡Maratón de Lectura comienza el lunes 16 de septiembre!
A partir de esa mañana y hasta la noche del 2 de octubre, los estudiantes deben hacer un seguimiento de su lectura diaria en un registro de lectura e invitar a los patrocinadores a donar dinero para apoyar sus esfuerzos. Al final de esos 17 días, cuentan todos los minutos que leyeron y entregan sus registros.
¡Se otorgarán premios a los estudiantes y clases que lean la mayor cantidad de minutos y a los niños que obtengan la mayor cantidad de promesas!

→ Los registros de lectura digital están disponibles en pledgestar.com/miravista, o puede utilizar los de papel que se proporcionan en la carpeta de los miércoles.
